Scope of Work
The Challenge
The courtyard was working against the resort. Poor drainage left it damp, the landscaping was failing, and a plain grass lawn with a dated look clashed with the resort's festive brand. The one space meant to pull guests in was quietly pushing them away.
What We Did
A Christmas resort has a hard job: it has to feel like Christmas when it is nowhere near Christmas. That is where the fiber-optic snowflakes earn their keep. Lit into the hardscape, they carry the theme year-round, which is what makes the courtyard a destination instead of a seasonal display.
Before & After
The same courtyard, a plain grass lawn before, and the lit, snowflake-paved gathering space after.

AfterFrom Vision to Reality
Design
We came in alongside Lucas Lagoons, the nationally known pool builder. They set the vision for the water; our job was to plan every hardscape decision around it so the two halves would read as one resort, not two separate jobs.
Build
Phase 1 was the Christmas Courtyard, three months start to finish. It began underground, fixing the drainage that had plagued the space, and everything else went in on top of a base that finally stayed dry. Phase 2 carries the same build across the rest of the resort.
Enjoy
The payoff is a resort that fills up year-round. Families come for the water park, the sunken fire pits hold the crowd in the evening, and the hardscape ties the whole thing together.
