The Challenge
Vickie's yard was small to begin with, and an awkward shape on top of that. The old concrete around the pool did nothing to help, boxing in a space that already had no room to spare.
What We Did
The fix was not more square footage, it was a smarter layout. Instead of fighting the odd angles, we designed a custom paver pattern that works with them, so the awkward shape reads as a deliberate feature and the whole yard feels bigger than it is. Coping and privacy fencing finished it around that idea.
From Vision to Reality
Design
We started from the angles the yard gave us and drew the paver layout to fit them exactly, planning the runs around the pool so nothing looked forced or left over.
Build
The old concrete came out first. Then we set new coping around the pool, laid the paver deck to the layout we drew, and closed the yard in with privacy fencing.
Enjoy
A tight lot that now looks and lives like a fully custom space, and gets used all season.
