Golden Hour Retreat
Gary's pool was dated but sound, so instead of ripping it out we kept the shell and reshaped everything around it, starting with an 8 foot deep end the family never used.

Scope of Work
The Challenge
Gary's pool was dated and did not fit his family. The deep end ran 8 feet and mostly sat unused, the pavers were failing, the spa leaked, and there was no slide for the kids.
What We Did
The pool itself was worth keeping, so we left the shell in place and put the decision where it mattered: the water. We raised the deep end from 8 feet to 5 and wrapped a bench the whole way around, turning the stretch nobody used into the part of the pool the family actually lives in. Every other upgrade was built around that shallower shape.
From Vision to Reality
Design
With the new shape settled, the rest of the plan came together on paper: travertine with a Unilock accent border to replace the failing pavers, where the slide would land, and the spa brought back into the picture.
Build
We raised the floor and set the wraparound bench, then refinished the pool with new plaster, tile, and coping. The old pavers came out for travertine and the Unilock border, we rebuilt the stone around the spa and fixed its leaking lines, ran a new line for the slide and set it, and swapped in all new automated equipment.
Enjoy
Now the deck glows at golden hour, the kids have a slide, and the deep end that used to sit empty is where everyone ends up.
See The Transformation
Chris Morales transformed and remodeled our pool area into a work of art. We added in-pool benches, new lighting and pool automation. The travertine decking turned out stunning, a much better upgrade over our old pavers. The workmanship is exemplary. Highly recommend without reservation.
